Frequently Asked Questions

Vegas Gold Network frequently asked questions are listed below:

(1): How do I get credit for players in my Vegas Gold Network?

To get credit for a referred player and have them assigned to your Vegas Gold Network, sign them up under "Add Your Players." You can also get credit if a visitor specifies you as the referral source. To do this, any visitor can go to "Join Now" and enter your email address as the referring email for you to get credit.

If the player has already been referred, the system will indicate this upon an attempted registration. The only other possible situation where you would not get credit for a referral is if the referred player specifically opts out of your network. This requires them to edit their personal profile and change the referral source. This is accomplished under "Edit Your Profile", which is only available after login under "Your Vegas Gold Network Account."

(2): How often do I receive payment?

Your poker account will be credited on the tenth day of each month any compensation you have earned in the previous month.

(3): I've already been registered by a friend and received a welcome email message. Can I add players to my network immediately or do I have to join first?

If your friend has registered you already, you are already registered in the system and you can immediately add your own players to the system. To do this, go to "Vegas Gold Network" and on the drop down menu select "Add Your Players." There, enter your email address and any players you would like to add.

(4): I've already been registered by a friend and when I try to register it says my email is already in the system. How do I find out my password?

At www.Vegas Gold poker.com, mouse over "Vegas Gold Network" at the top of the page, and click on "Send Me My Password." This will generate a password reminder email to the email of record and allow you to enter your account. Once you have your password, go to "Login" and proceed to log in. Then, go to the menu item "Your Vegas Gold Network Account" and click on the left menu choice "Edit Your Profile." You can make any desired changes to your account there.

(5): I have a large list of friends and players that I would like to enter into the Vegas Gold Network. I don't want to enter these ten at a time as your "Add Your Player" function allows. Can I send them to you for import?

Yes. If you have a list of over 10 players that you would like us to import, send it to us at support@VegasGoldpoker.com in any format such as Microsoft Excel, CSV file or ACCESS database (MDB) file and we will import them here. Make sure you indicate your email so that we can credit them correctly to your Vegas Gold Network account.

(6): What if I don't know the email of the person that referred me or I just found out about Vegas Gold Poker through advertising or through a general e-mail?

Please get the email of the person who referred you before signing up. We will not go back and change your sponsor (referrer) after you have signed up. Please check any ads you have seen, or e-mails you have received, thoroughly; there may be a referral email or code in the ad or e-mail. If you have come here without a sponsor, simply sign up without a referral and we will place you somewhere in the network.

(7): What is a Qualified Player?

A Qualified Player is a player who has played a minimum of hands at cash games (of $1-2 Limit and above) in a particular qualifying period (each calendar month).

(8): What are Action Players and Big Time Players, and what do they mean to me?

An Action Player is a player who has played a minimum of 900 hands at cash games (of $1-2 Limit and above) in the previous calendar month. A Big Time Player is a player who has played a minimum of 1200 hands at cash games (of $1-2 Limit and above) in the previous calendar month.

If you're at least a Qualified Player, you'll always earn at least $5 on every other Qualified Player in your Vegas Gold Network. However, if you qualify as an Action Player or a Big Time Player in a given month, you will be paid additional compensation on other players in your Vegas Gold Network who have qualified at the same level. If you qualify as an Action Player in a given month, you'll earn $10 for each Action Player in your Vegas Gold Network during that same month. If you qualify as a Big Time Player in a given month, you'll earn $20 for each Big Time Player in your Vegas Gold Network during that same month AND $10 for each Action Player in your Vegas Gold Network during that month. So qualify as a Big Time Player every month to maximize your compensation!

(9): Do the players I refer have to lose money for me to earn commissions?

No! You get paid on each player within your Vegas Gold Network. Your total compensation depends on the total number of Qualified Players in your network and their level of qualification, whether they win or lose. Example: We'll assume that in a given month you have 500 Qualified Players in your personal five (5) generation network, 300 Qualified Players ($5 each), 175 Action Players ($10 each), and 25 Big Time Players ($20 each). Your bonus would be calculated in the following manner: (300 x $5 for Qualified Players) + (175 x $10 for Action Players) + (25 x $20 for Big Time Players) = $1500 + $1750 + $500 = $3750!!

(10): Why is there a minimum play requirement to be eligible to receive monthly bonuses?

Imagine if hundreds of thousands of people joined the Vegas Gold Network but only 100 actually play poker. You've got to PLAY for PAY!

(11): If I don't qualify one month do I lose my spot in the network?

No, the bonus money that you would have earned in any month you're not qualified will simply flow to those members above you (the player that referred you to VGP) that are qualified. You won't receive bonuses in that month, but, you will go right back to earning bonuses on those players play in the following month, provided that you qualify. So just play and qualify!

(12): Am I penalizing myself by referring someone that never funds his poker account or never wagers because they will jam up my five (5) levels, and I'll only get paid on the four (4) below them?

No, you get paid on five (5) generations of referrals so, theoretically any referral line you start will search downward until five (5) levels that contain Qualified Players are found. It might take ten (10) or fifteen (15) levels before you get five different levels that have Qualified Players in a specific line.

(13): Will Vegas Gold Poker disclose my personal information to anyone else or sell it?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! Please see the VGP privacy agreement.

(14): How can I see how many referrals and how many levels are in my own personal network?

After signing up in Vegas Gold Poker, you can access all information related to your network at the Vegas Gold Poker site or directly through the Main Lobby of the Poker Room by clicking on the Vegas Gold Network menu tab. Just type in your e-mail address associated with your Vegas Gold Poker account to log in and access your network information, see your current level of bonuses, or to add new players.

(15): Should I call or e-mail the poker room if I have questions about my referral Network?

There are specially trained Vegas Gold Poker customer service reps to handle your inquiries via e-mail. Please direct all VGP network or compensation related inquiries to support@VegasGoldPoker.com. You will receive a prompt reply!

(16): Can I send out bulk e-mails to recruit new players?

NO! No spamming whatsoever will be tolerated and is grounds for immediate dismissal from the Vegas Gold Network. (You will still be able to play at Vegas Gold Poker but will no longer be eligible to receive compensation for referring players). Vegas Gold Poker is a credible, legitimate business and cannot allow rogue members to damage its reputation by spreading misinformation or uninvited information throughout cyberspace. Vegas Gold Poker will offer plenty of online marketing tools to help grow your business. The best method to get started is to simply use word of mouse & use the Add Player tool under the Vegas Gold Network menu tab (on the web site or in the game lobby) to e-mail your friends that play poker (or who want to) and they will be credited to you!

(17):Will I get credit if my friend signs up manually without putting me down as a referral but I already have him registered on my first level under the same email address?

You'll get credit if you refer him first prior to him registering. A player can also edit their profile at any time and add a referring email, so if a friend wants to add you later they can do so at any time even if they register first before you refer them.

(18):How do I refer someone to my network?

To refer someone all you have to do is go to your "Vegas Gold network" and go to the "sign up your players" tab. Here you can refer as many people as you would like to.
